Looking for help with this, Gear oil seeping out engine/gearbox mating surface. Anyone delt with this? I assume it is inner input shaft seals on the passenger side. Anyone have a diagram with seals and part numbers?

So I’m there, can anyone confirm the direction of the seal on this diagram. If it is correct mine was in backwards…
Is there anyone who can confirm if this an instance of “intentionally” reversing an oil seal?
You should see the flat back part of that seal. I not can’t tell 100% it might have been installed wrong.
