Well I have found out this is the place to be for my V10. I picked this up in September last year, had it shipped to CO from CA. Here are a few pictures from when I picked it up. It was a 2 owner, previous CPO, 85k. I am technically the 4th owner as the dealership owner was apparently driving it around for about a year.

I’ve mostly just been taking care of the little things. It had a pretty clean bill of health from my local Audi dealer. I just had them change the oil and flush the power steering fluid while they had it.

The LED strip in one of the tail lights went out so I replaced that. The red on the S6 trunk badge was peeling off so that was replaced as well. Recently replaced the air filters and the oil separator as well. I just had a Milltek installed which I picked up used. The resonator delete pipes were missing to I had it adapted to the stock pieces, which makes it a bit more mild than normal. Still has a nice rumble to it though. I think next on the list is upper CA’s (completely torn and balljoints are clicking a bit), JHM intake spacers +carbon clean and JHM tune. I do not have really wild plans for it, but would like to wake up the V10 a bit. Also hunted down the rear engine cover with rings. I am guessing it’s a common problem with these popping off as pretty much every used one is missing them.

congrats! that interior looks especially clean :o I also have the quartz metallic gray color, and while I wasn’t a huge fan of it initially, it has really grown on me - very understated…until you press the gas pedal ;D ;D

I’m also missing the fragile rings. Do the ones in the V6 cover fit? Are there any carbon fiber engine trim options like there are for the v8 FSI?

In Europe they sell Meyle HD beefed up aftermarket control arm/bushing option for the A6 C6 and relative Passat models with great success. They actually seem to be of a more substantial build/quality. No personal affiliation nor experience tho. (But if something gives, I’m willing to try their product.)
