Did mass air flow sensors
Pcv valve
Coil packs plugs
Carbon clean
Checked compression its perfect
Leak down test as well all good…
I’m going to do the plugs again due to runing the car with one bad maf sensor
I guess after that the only thing to do is injectors
I do all my own work
I don’t have a vag scanner but I’ve been using my launch scanner.
I have a code po310 po300 and another code saying the ecm shut down an injector
P130a code
I’ve have had many odd misfires since I got our S6 in 19’, but last summer on a trip home while driving 240km/h on the autobahn a cylinder just gave up. Constant misfire and deleting the code didn’t help.
So I bought a new injector for that cylinder and it worked.
Soon after another cylinder started to misfire the same way, and then another.
So I removed all injectors, except the new one, and flushed them with with turpentine or white spirits.
First from the back following the direction of the flow, with pressure and then turned the injector on and off.
Then I did the same thing backwards, so against the normal flow, and I was surprised to see all the gunk coming out of them.
Since then, august 2020 to now, not a single misfire and the car runs super smoothly!
I my case I could remove the injectors by hand, with little to no force.
Remember to change out the Teflon seal and o-ring when removing the injectors.
Hi mike I would have to say I think you have the same issue Kimovitzh is talking about.
The injectors on these cars go bad. It’s not if they will go bad. It’s when. The best option is to get serviced and flow tested injectors. You can contact @JimmyBones he might have some availble. It’s a smart idea as even some of the new injectors can be down on flow.
It might not be a bad idea to spend the money for the vag cable. If you do all your own work then the vag com really is a great tool that you will get a lot of good use out of.
Yep, I have some V10 injectors still. Just message me and I can get you a price.
Haven’t been home yet to mess with. But its a dead miss on number 10… what vag cable would I need. There’s some for cheap on Amazon and the there’s one for $500 not sure
An update I did one injector for now till my orders come in Fri fcp Euro on line. The offer a life time warranty on all parts. Might be worth buying from them. Anyways. I did a pressure check on the fuel rail after in stall and all checked out… car is up and running no codes… thank you for all the help. And I still want to know what bag cable I need. Thanks again.
You mean a VCDS?
Thats not as much as I seen. Hmmmm
I get my oil change kit, spark plugs, coilpacks, and injector service kits from FCP…
Buy it once and you literally only ever have to worry about shipping…
