2010 DSG issue

While driving error came up " Gearbox malfunction, you may continue driving with limited functions "
Car is on 125000 kms.
Took it in and they pinpointed the speed sensor is intermittent in the gearbox.
Had that replaced and it cured the problem.
2 Days later in rush hour traffic, as soon as it shifts to 2nd gear at 900 rpm to 1400 rpm i get a shudder.
After that it’s fine.
Same with down shifting, when it’s in 2nd and almost going to 1st gear the same shudder.

Had the software update done to the latest and greatest, and still the same.

Now when i reverse, even when the steering is straight i hear a noise, sounds mechanical.
Audi say its my clutch pack thats needs replacing. Prior to the speed sensor work there was absolutely nothing wrong with the clutch pack. Scanned for errors, nothing came up.

Any one familiar with this type of gearbox behavior? Would hate to change it then only to find out it’s Mechatronics and not the clutch.
Thx in advance.
