Scoured the internet. It appears there is no such thing as an after market oil dipstick for the RS5s? Allegedly the hole for one is under the left side engine air intake system. Just want to confirm it. Thanks.
isn’t it the same as the B8 S4 ? i.e. shown in the car computer, and no dipstick
you can buy a dipstick from an A3 and use that I believe. You just need to mark it up properly for your oil levels.
Correct, shown on the MMI. As you know I’m old school, prefer a stick. However, as difficult as it is to get to the hole for the stick under the air cleaner may be one reason no one seems to make one. ECS has one for the S5, called them, will not work on RS5. Thanks
I hate the electronic sensor…so it isn’t just you. If you don’t wait long enough while filling your engine with oil it’s pretty easy to overfill.
