I hear you there. Sticking with the V8 is a good call. knowing JHM actually as the inhouse V8 S5 that should really lock in the future for there development of the S5 market and motors

Ya, its shocking really. I had so much higher of expectations from Audi. The route they are taking with their “new” design is terrible. They must have lost their lead designer ??? ???
I’m usually able to appreciate new designs when everyone says the old one looks better. I liked the facelift b8 right away… but this one is weird. I saw the a4 in person yesterday and it’s hard to like (exterior).

The B8.5 S5 looks awesome. The RS5 is fucking delicious. Angry face, mean LEDs. You guys are clinging to your pre-facelift bias a little hard if you say the facelift is no good.
The new car just looks like nothing because it is nothing. It’s a drawing. We’ll need to see one in person to make a true call. THe hood is indeed ugly though.
I prefer B8 RS5 to the face smashed B8.5 RS5 all day long.
However, I do prefer the look of the B8.5 RS5 to B8 S5 in everything except for the grill and lights (fender flares, width, rear valance, rear spoiler, front honeycomb grill, front lower corner side grills, side skirts).
If they would have put a lever/3rd pedal in it and someone developed a reliable stage 3 kit I can honestly say I would be driving a face smashed RS5 right now.
Yeah I like the rs5, especially the ones without the chrome or bright grilles, I guess that’s an option…
I thought The dsg was the rawest of the other variants at the time of the test drive, but yeah it’s not manual…would still be fun to supercharge tho

This is the first time I’ve thought a previous gen looked MORE modern than a new/current gen. b8.5 IMO looks newer than the b9 exterior. So strange.
