Yeah, I didn’t invent that technique - I found it on the Internet. There’s like a 19 page thread on AZ about it. People were doing it for flywheel assemblies that weren’t machined properly for production variations of the B8 over time. Eurocode Tilton, my JHM lightweight flywheel and 5U clutch, etc. Anyway, I have no real problems. I’m under no illusion that this clutch will last any more than 20,000 miles.
In other news, I’m going to try to test drive a B9 S4 at Audi San Francisco tomorrow afternoon.
