Here we go people stand the ef up. I know theres a ton of people here just by the views that are on some of the threads, but are only followed by a small percentage of responses. There has to be a ton of people around here just watching. Nows the time for you to have some input without typing anything. I’m sure JHM will see this and if they know who’s out there, it may help to get things moving but it sure as hell won’t hurt.
I want the JHM tune but don’t like this answer.
NO to free upgrades.
Example of why I would want/need an upgrade.
I have stock exhaust and I get the JHM tune.
Then I get 2.5 downpipes and exhaust.
Should I get/need a new tune?
If JHM’s tune is progressive and sees the change then I would say its not needed.
Other companies offer a free upgrade/retune.
I think the other companies do it free if you buy the stuf from them.
You wouldn’t need a retune. The tune is adaptive. Good tunes adapt shitty ones don’t.
You wont need a retune until you get a blower, cams or a bigger maf, things like that. Otherwise it will adapt to the extra airflow.
If you plan on going catless you may wanna get that included in your tune to begin with though.

None of the options really applied, so I’ll just state what I’m thinking.
Likely will get JHM tune and downpipes next year if they become available. Not because I want to wait for others to get them necessarily, but I will have a much better cash flow next year.
Because of that, also considering keeping my car with bolt ons and getting e92 M3 in a year or two, or selling the 3.0 in a year and getting a B7 RS4. At the moment, if I keep the 3.0 I’m most leaning towards a 2.7T swap, the c-fuge blower on a 3.0 doesn’t really appeal to me if one becomes available. But that’s just my preference. Couple other thoughts I’ve had are keeping the 3.0 and getting 4.2 S5 depending on JHM mods available, or simply buying a B6 S4 and transferring parts over. As much as I love a clean silver or nogaro B6, I’m least considering that idea due to what I consider as a high motor failure risk and a high cost of replacing accessories that like to fail on the timing chain 4.2 (starter, A/C condenser, etc.).
Lol those are almost the exact thoughts I’m having. Way more income next year, b7 rs4 or 4.2 S5. Although depending on how the blower does on the 3.0 I could be swayed to that as well.
Since I don’t have money faling out of my ass.
I’ll have to wait till TAX time and do a little by little upgrades.
