42draftdesigns to make A4 3.0 CATS and downpipes soon.

They asked to use my 2003 A4 3.0 manual trans for R&D.

I already have Labree high flow CATS and downpipes but have problems with them.
Subject for another time.

They are a little backed up right now so try not to flood them with question.
I am going to send them a link to this post and let them monitor it.

Lets see if we can make this happen!!!

They also make air intake systems but not for the A4 3.0 yet.
One thing at a time please?

It will be nice to see how it turns out. Im excited for the JHM Dp’s as Ive seen them on my car.

Its cool that another company is looking to do something with the 3.0 but It might be just a bit too late. If JHM offers packages on tunes and Dp’s (thats what I was told) then there is the possibility that not too many people are going to want to go else where for Dp’s. Its great that your able to be a test car tho it will be nice to see how this all shakes out.

I would pass on the intakes and make sure they don’t let you get sold on one. I think all of us have figgured out by now that the stock air box is good for a nice chunk of power. The intake thing tends to be more of a scam then real world results. As it sits our air box already has a restriction in it so Im thinking that should point us to see that the Air box is good enough. More then that our air box can use the same size filter as the RS4 so Im thinking while I know we don’t have a RS4 air box. Im thinking a intake might not be the best or needed thing.

Not only that but if you really wanted to you can make a ghetto intake for cheap.

Those are just my thoughts keep the information coming

After looking at the recent Air-Box mods I might talk to 42draftdesigns about cleaning up some of the
ghetto made parts to look factory.

Whats your opinions?

I already have full Milltek 60mm after my Labree high flow CATS.
If I have the money I might ask them to make a full custom exhaust and just use the milltek mufler and tips.
