Couple folks were asking for pics, so here she is:

Chassis has ~185k on it, motor I’m not entirely sure anymore. Block is a eurospec short deck stroker, 2.5L. Lots done to it - 016 trans with high bias diff, coilovers, short ratio steering rack, S2 wheel, bolt in roll cage, the list goes on. I got the project 90% done as a trade, and am just putting on the final touches. Re-tuned the VEMS a bit, did the 5 bolt swap, fixed a hydraulic hose leak, little stuff. Torquey and fun little car.

In the garage is a RS2 rep bumper, reiger evo side skirts, S2 gauges, B4 CC box, and misc ABY parts to add some boost. She’s currently the DD for the other half, so once that concludes sometime this year…the fun will begin.

Found one more (and no, that’s not the current license plate)

Love those cars. I have only seen 2 here, both at a local meet. One was grey and it looked awesome.

Funny, they both said almost exactly what you said regarding going turbo  (have the parts…almost there…etc). It’s a big job I guess. Tuning must be a bugger.

The parts are the harder part for me, along with actually getting some down time. Spent a lot of time getting parts from overseas, but it should make for a very OEM type installation.

The car is already VEMS equipped, so tuning won’t be too terrible.

Nice coupe! Regarding tuning, I assume you’re already a member at motorgeek?

Correct I am, although I’ve shifted more over to www.theprojectpad.com for I5 musings, for various reasons. The previous build thread(s) for the cq are on MG, although this is first one I’ve started for it. Only had it about 6 months.
