I’m starting to hear pretty consistent clicking when turning at low speed as well as during parking lot speeds. Has anyone here had to replace a CV joint/axle on their RS5? I’m going to have the car on the lift soon to investigate. Factory suspension, spacers for 6 months.
My CV boots and all the bushings look to be in great shape for 43k miles. While the car was in the air I turned the wheels lock to lock and heard no sounds but it is still present while on the ground. Wait it out or replace the joints?
43k would be pretty early for CV joints to go bad. They usually last more than twice that mileage. I’d look elseware.
