A fair price?

Hey fellas,
I’ve been going back and forth and I think I want to sell my 2006 supercharged s4. It’s in great mechanical shape. It’s got 76,xxx miles but zero chain rattle. It’s got the JHM stage 1 kit, stage 4 clutch and lwfw, motor mounts, trans mount, snub mount, JHM short shifter, de-catted milltek downpipes, fast intentions cat back exhaust, and intake manifold spacers. Nothing is wrong with the car, just ready to make a move into something else. My question is what would a good price be?

Nice car. Ever think about returning it to stock or close to it and selling off the parts? With the right buyer that’s looking for a modified S4 probably in the 20-22k range would be fair. Is it auto or manual?

6 speed

Parting out whatever you can and selling car stock or almost stock would probably yield most $$$. Selling it modded as is and pricing it higher than similar stock S4 will take time and the right buyer. All depends what’s more important to you, time money, etc… As is I’d start with $20k and see how many bites I’d get. I have to ask, but what’s next for you?

But to put it back to stock would cost money?
I not 100% but I think I want a new Golf R.

you will definitely make more returning to stock and selling the parts off separately.

I would buy the supercharger ;D

Yup, that’s why I mentioned it depends on what’s more important to you money, time… If you could remove some of the parts yourself, it’d same you some funds on labor. Paying someone for labor, might not even make sense to part out.
How many miles did you put on it with a supercharger on? Is it not what you expected it to be or the itch for something newer is too strong ;)?

btw I have a friend with a golf R and a stage 2 apr tune. a rolling race vs my rs4 from 100 to 300kph only resulted in one car length for me. any less speed he just spins though.

I wouldn’t do the labor myself, so it really doesn’t make sense to part out.

In all honesty I absolutely love my car. I love everything about it. It does everything I want it to; and more. I just have the itch for something brand new. I think I only put about 6,000 miles on the car since I got it back. I basically did it all at the same time.

haha I figured, I know that itch all too well. Damn it’s as fresh as it gets, the setup I mean. Yeah, I’d list it with all the mods as is and see how the traffic is.

I Agree put it in the new 20s you should get some interest. The biggest hold up will be finding an educated buyer for the car that doesn’t already own one.
