This is just a quick video to show how to clear the codes on the 2007 4.2 RS4.
The RS4 has 2 ECU’s this can cause some issues for people who don’t know how to find the second ECU. Forgive the video quality it was just something I did real quick to help out a very nice guy that might need this.
Thanks again for taking the time to post this. The car is still at the dealer, guess the issue is beyond the PCV breather tube that was slightly clogged. the CEL light will probably pop up eventually due to the amount of time it has been driven by the tech trying to diagnose various things but what can you do. I’ll deal with it when it comes and see how it goes. I f’n can’t stand the extended warranty rep that shows up to approve/deny claims.
Is there any way you can get the car back for a few days? Or even one day and then take it back? We can see if there is anyway to get a Dealer Flash for your car for the CEL.
