After market tail lights for C6 S6

Hello all,

Been awhile since I’ve been here!
Was wondering if anyone has had a good experience with retro fitting upgraded LED tail lights for their S6. I’ve seen some out there from some vendors that range from cheap looking to some that show promise. Trying to avoid the former, e.g. I have heard that Spyder is garbage but they are common. My online search has been a task I think due to the rarity of the model. Pro Tuning Lab is another popular vendor but appear to be limited in selection. I also notice that with some of the lights that will work, don’t seem to show the rear fog lamp included.
Brake light is going out and I have a small crack on the cover so perhaps a good opportunity to pull the trigger on the upgrade.
Please advise!

I personally haven’t looked into retro fitting the tail lights recently, and I remember years ago when I did there’s wasn’t much of a selection. But just to get more information, which year is your S6? Is it the C6 or C6.5 (preface lift vs face lift)?

Its a 2007; I believe it makes it a C6-- Never was to clear on the dif between C6/C6.5.

I thought I saw a post somewhere awhile back where someone had located a good outfit overseas that carries quality aftermarket taillights.
I just don’t want to replace the stocks with a made in china poor quality product.

C6.5 starts in 2011 with the facelift, IIRC.

C6.5 is 2009 for facelift. :wink:

haha, that’s right. 2011 is the last year of the V10…

side note… I need to dig it up again, but I recall seeing the 2011 S6s with Brembos on the front in a brochure. Anyone else ever see that?

Ah… in the tech specs says 6 piston front brakes… liessssss
