All Knock Sensors too high?

So this has been on-going now for about a year. I wanted to rule out bad gas, but it is still happening. Car has all the standard cold-start V10 symptoms, but runs near perfect when warm. What could be causing these faults?

P1322 - 001 - Signal too Large - Intermittent

P1324 - 001 - Signal too Large - Intermittent

Also reading these can be sensitive to installation torque…
I can post ST/LT trim values. Should these be recorded when the car is cold or after warmed up?

Edit: finally did a smoke test and found a culprit

That’s what many see. The smoke test is one of the single most important tests you can run on the 5.2. There are so many spots that it can leak from it’s hard to track them all down.

Nice find.

HI guys, I too have a suspect O2 sensor as I have these faults. In my case the engine would hesitate ONCE only then run smoothly. I suspect that it could be the downstream O2 sensor sending wrong levels to the box. Hope someone can clarify if my hunch is accurate.
I have an RS4 Avant 2013, B8, 4.2L CFSA power unit
