Precision 5858 turbo .64 A/R

  • Integrated Engineering rods
  • Precision 600hp intercooler
  • Tial MVR44 wastegate
  • Tial Q BOV
  • Bosch 044 fuel pump
  • Southbend Stage 4 Extreme clutch kit
  • Bosch EV14 72lb injectors
  • Rebuilt engine with 034 coated bearings, new rings, honed cylinders, lapped valves in heads and all new engine gaskets/seals
  • Custom manifolds, merge pipe, and downpipe

What I enjoyed about it is that it was a 2.7 with IE Rods. None of this fancy expensive bullshit that gets everyone nowhere. And the fact that his kit was self made and apperently self tuned.

Very nice build, also I fully agree that it is nice not seeing him chasing every expensive part just because. It’s a lot of man hours, but all in all, not a crazy technical build. Glad to see him do well.

Pretty cool. Good that he’s keeping it simple, and spending on good parts the right way.

Most B5 builds are either far too complex trying to reinvent the wheel (think britishturbothief) or they cut corners (think almost every other B5 on earth)

Local guy. Probably in Kitchener or London if he went to St Thomas.

Did he have drag tires? He said he would like to go 10s on pump gas with street tires. That pass was 10.97 on race+meth…on ??? tires?

Does he mean 10s on pump+meth? or straight pump?

The b5 platform is steadily moving backwards. In everyother platform the best advice you can give is to listen to the performance guys and follow what the guys are saying. In the b5 platform the best advise there is. Is to ignore all the adviceany b5 guy gives you .

Looking through his thread he mentioned race gas for the 10.9 and 93 pump for the 11.2. No mention of tires for the 10.9 but looking at his sixty I would take a guess at street tires since he has a launch control feature that seems to work pretty well in his build thread.
