Another bad intake manifold

Is there any interest in the old broken intakes?

Even for research? I don’t know how many are floating around, probably better then leaving it in a corner in my garage collecting dust.

I’ve decided I’ll buy a new one… Unless it’s only a few months away for the upgraded intake? Any ideas on a time line?

I’d be interested in maybe seeing it,and making a project out of it

contact JHM at the V10@jhmorotsports.com

From what I understand they will send you a label and when and if you ever need an intake after they get there intake for release they give you a disscount.

Really? I’ll send them my old intake. Gotta send them an e-mail.

Think that’s a typo in the jhm email, but I figured it out. Shot them an email. Will be ordering spacers, tune ect from them next week.

See what they say.

Thanks for the head’s up

This has been confirmed. They sent me a shipping label this morning.

Sending mine in as well.

timely refresh of this thread here for me

my manifold’s been clattering for months now

just developed an intermittent misfire

just ordered my intake spacers and will do a carbon clean and (likely) a coil pack or 10 “while I’m in thar”… oy

will try to glue flap s shut, but am planning on some / many being gone altogether so would then have to fab up blockoff plates for those

we’ll see - wish me luck

Hi all,

Same problem here, for 7 months I have the click noise on my 2007 S8, and have been looking EVERYWHERE in Europe to find a new replacement with no luck.

There are some US sites that have it listed, but NONE will ship to Europe.

ANY news where to locate one? I drive the car up to 3.000rpm, but live with the bad dream of one of those damn plastics going down into the cylinder…

Since this is an old post I will also post it as a new one
Thanks

You can’t find any new IMs (revised part) in Europe? Audi HQ isn’t producing any in-house or at least sourcing them near y’all?
