Happened today on the way home going 80mph during rush hour…not good. :o

This morning I did the throttle adaptation per post I found by Justin: disconnect battery, ignition key on 2 min, open door, key off, ignition key on 2 minutes.

The results were a mixed bag. Looks like I blew a fuse (hopefully that’s it) in the MMI system, as the radio, etc no longer works. When I try and turn MMI on, the screen comes on briefly and then goes blank.

After the ESP light coming on briefly, it went away. I think that is typically after doing a systems check through VCDS?

and the alarm horn fault has been there for almost 4 years, since I’ve had the car.

Just me or is it weird that there are 3 different temperatures?

Good eyes. Hmm, seems weird, but I don’t know what that could mean.

and the tire pressure warning is the only one that’s new.

The rest are from 2007 and 2014

That’s the 2nd log, which was recorded this morning after I disconnected the battery (resets date to 2007).

The ESP related stuff from last night has yesterday’s date.

Also, I looked for blown fuses but didn’t find anything. After I was done the radio and MMI (still not NAV) ended up working again. Strange…

Guys, I’m wondering if there’s any diagnostic I can run on the throttle bodies and accelerator pedal with VCDS, like I was able to do with the Evap purge valve.

I’d really like to proactively get ahead of this rather than waiting to get stranded somewhere.

Sorry for not jumping in sooner.

When you get that many codes and a fuse that blows there is a good chance that something shorted out. Did the MMi fuse blow around the same time the codes popped up.

I know you posted data but after you cleared the codes did you get a chance to see what codes popped back up. looking again the codes all seem like they could all be linked to throttle issues. The fuel would be related as the pressure didn’t rise to meet the expected angle and the ESP is throttle related when the total control of the throttle is compromised ESP will default.

So I get my question is apon clearing what codes if any popped back up and have you driven it since how far and have any codes come back up. Lastly the fuse thing IMHO might be related. It would beinteresting to see what fuse popped and what size it was.
