Todd. I have to say best looking kit by a mile…several other kits just look like a tube with a filter and a weak flimzy block off plate… what makes your kit better tho… what is so much better goiing this way then just having a heat sheld and open element…you ssy better flow…explain how this is…
We see you on AR alot…give us the scoop… no haters here…just people eger for REAL FACTS…
All we are releasing here is a carbon fiber dress up item (the box cover and inlet scoop).
The flow claims come from the pre-existing S-FLO intake that we’ve had out for a few years, and have documented on our site previously.
We dyno tested the carbon parts, and even though the snow screen and associated ducting is now fully eliminated with this cover design, there was no additional power to be had. As we had been saying since day one, the gains on a box-type intake are seen by a freer flowing filter and non-corrugated hose.
I agree it looks damn sexy, though.
And we have new lower pricing on the S-FLO intake alone now…
Yes, our supplier uses a heat stable resin, and there is also a UV stabilizer in there. Same supplier as our VW/Audi CCB intake and not a single report of yellowing to date. This supplier is a Tier 1 to Ducati and BMW.
Recommend them to audi please… Every rs4 I’ve ever seen has yellowsauce carbon fibre engine covers. Annoying sorta. Then again I am not prone to lift the hood lest it be necessary.
