The best failure was when I started that thread here ‘where are all the fat EPL cars?’ and TwitS4estate cried and wanted to ‘show me up’ by starting a similar thread on audizine to get times to shove in my face.
Well one time came from the thread… A very mediocre 11.9 @ 118 b5 with rs6 turbos and race gas and full modlist lol. Then another one did… And this was the fail. Tony tried to claim an 11 second k04 car time as his own. Only problem? It was giac tuned lol

What’s shocking is that people stand up and cheer for EPL and defend them and their ‘reputation’. (Staticuxo is for some reason saying they’re well known in the B5 world as if they’ve accomplished great things). They have fuck all reputation. No results. Nothing. Seriously, they’re non-existant.
The top B5 S4 1/4 mile list is pretty huge…and after 8 years at this game, EPL have 3 cars on it, and ZERO in the top 10. In fact, there are 3 cars on the ENTIRE AUDI LIST. The fastest EPL car, the owner complained about the tune, then tweaked it quite a bit to get the result he did. He then called out EPL and accused them of dyno doctoring on the forums.
Anyway, this B8 guy’s modlist is fucking STOUT. That car should be VERY fast. If it runs 12.7 @ 109 EPL needs to be closed down permanently.

I wouldn’t exactly call that a stout mod list in terms of performance…
It has a pulley, tune, intake and a Catback.
It’s got stock cooling and stock cats.
Rotors, pads and lines aren’t a performance mod since they’re not lightweight. Control arms were done with the Coilovers which are 90% of the time aesthetic and don’t effect straight line performance and same goes the for the sways and end links.
It’s got an upgraded clutch/flywheel which at this point is unproven but my stock clutch was fine at the strip and so was my cheap FX400 so I can’t imagine that hindering the performance at all…
Regardless we have seen nothing from EPL and they’ve done jack shit in the B5 world even though they try and make themselves out to be amazing…
Only EPL car I’ve seen that ran good was my buddies GT2.
That car with a decent/good driver should be in the 12.45-12.55@111-112 in 0 to 1000 DA in the 70’s.

Cooling helps drastically with Stage 2 regardless of DA because of the high boost…
Lightweight flywheel hasn’t proven any gains yet, and the wheels do help I’ll give you that.
You do suck at it…LWFW have been proven to reduce drivetrain loss on just about anything, which increases performance. Don’t go bat shit crazy on me…I’m not talking a half second, but it is still one of the stout mods his car has.
Saki is just saying that even without the EPL tune/pulley…his car should be pretty damn quick, you actually just proved his point while trying to start a nice little side argument again.
If he goes and runs a 12.7 with his EPL tune/pulley…then EPL sucks because like you said above…the car should already be substantially quick.

And has provided many useful logs, acceleration tests, etc…
