I ended up biting the bullet and taking the alternator back out to get to the leaky hose. It was the short hose from the oil cooler to the coolant pipe, 07L121057M, leaking at both ends, only when driven hard. New hose and 2 new MU27 clamps (N90687001) on the way as well as new clamps for the alternator lines MU19 (N90926401) and I should be good to go.
The oil cooler orings definitely solved most of my oil leak. I might have just a small seep somewhere else but it doesn’t drip at all.
