First of all I was at the ford dealership(we were buying a F-150 ecoboost, race videos against the S4 coming soon) and I laughed when I saw the GIAC dude and and big serve make fun of me for being so skinny, ya I wish. Bit then when I thought about it I realized that some hater can try to fuck with me or my work. Since you’ve Pmed the owner for me (thank you) and Jspazz reported the post (thank you) I’m not even going to waste time pming the owner and hope it gets deleted even though I smited g od in the other thread.

So why don’t you bitches stop arguing about the douche that posted my Facebook and argue about the douche that’s pretending I’m afraid of racing my car! Also I could use some karma, what’s a wigger have to do to get some karma around here.

Those look awesome. A neighbour’s got one in silver with some black trim and gun metal wheels and black seats with red piping. I like it. Is it the one that says FX4? I know nothing about these trucks other than the fact that there is someone here who knows everything about them. Count vohn.

It’s a 2 door with an 8ft bed its a work truck that were going to install a glAss rack on. It’s white and has the nicest grill from the 4 different ones they have. The sales guys and managers were dishonest assholes that would try to fuck you every chance they got.

The FX4 is ford’s version of an offroad package like Chevy’s Z71 package trucks. It’s basically another trim package like the XLT, lariat, king ranch, platinum editions, etc. The truck that your neighbor has is an FX4 with the appearance package (special package only offered on the fx4 trim package. It usually comes with black wheels, vinyl hockey stripe decals and the red piped black interior with suede inserts. The ecoboost is in reference to the 3.5l V6 TT, F150 can also come with the NA 3.7l v6, 5.0l V8, or the 6.2l V8.

I’m not sure why paper thinks we care about videos of the ecoboost work truck and his S4, in reality there would be about a 3 second difference between them in the 1/4, so a roll will just be pointless. Not to mention if its a work truck I’m sure it’s 2wd and doesn’t have an electronic rear locker like my FX4.

Speaking of CV, I’m waiting to hear back from him about some tuning of my FX4…

I assume these will be roll races on the street? Shame you can’t get to the track so we know times and such… Paper will get destroyed from a dig by Tyson’s dsg car so his only chance is from a roll IMO… Hopefully, he can drive like Pete or the roll could get ugly as well…

hey Merlin why don’t you tell your fellow GIAC folks to quit lying about their tune being faster stage I than other tuners stage II, as that is plain false… Maybe they should spend more time figuring out how to go to market with products instead of talking smack… Still can’t keep the bypass closed in the cold weather?

Well I’m going to plan on doing some rolls first since I don’t want me or the other manual car to blow his clutch before we get some good vids. I’ve never launched my car with the fx400 and I’m not really going to practice before hand as I don’t want to fuck up the clutch before the race. I don’t think I’m going to get raped from a dig but we won’t know till it happens. I’m sure once I get the 2.2 tune it shouldn’t be that bad.

I think to launch the car, just make sure you don’t slip the shit out of the clutch. Get OFF the clutch when you get ON the gas. You can experiement from various RPM levels. I would start at 3200 RPMs and see how it goes. If it bogs, go to 3400. If it spins like hell, go to 3000. The car makes great torque off an idle, so you don’t need big RPMs to motivate the car. That’s for ricers.

Traction all the way off
Hold down clutch
select first gear
RPMs to 3200 and hold
release the clutch in one swift motion

don’t lift the clutch up slowly because you’ll glaze it/slip it to hell
slam the gas at the same time as the car starts moving out and hold on for dear life. Dont forget to shift to 2nd before the rev limiter.

It should be fun.

yes and yes and yes, the 2.2 fixes the lag issue when you shift issue when you slam it into 2nd gear.

Thanks for the advice, I launched my car once when I had a stock clutch and Revo, I raced my friends S4 with Revo he used launch control and we were neck and neck until about 60 where I started pulling really really slowly. maybe ill do 1 practice launch before the race, but Like I said I usually abuse my car and I dont want to blow the clutch before the race.

I have litearlly 60 dragstrip passes in my B7 RS4 on stock clutch. On 20 of those I did little burnout launches. Another 50 or so launches being a moron off the strip/making videos etc. I’ve also blasted away from stoplights towards onramps etc. many times.

If my stock clutch can handle 100-150 full bore launches using that technique, your aftermarket race clutch should be able to handle 2-3.
