any C6 S6 VAG-COM / Ross-Tech secret handshakes?

Anyone have any resource(s) to point me towards to do some VAG-COM tinkering w/ my '07?

Any insight appreciated - TIA!

Here are a few that I use as my must haves. This is a great thread idea. Lets dump as many in here as we can.

Disable Seat belt chime.

17 - Instruments
Coding - 07
Long coding helper
Byte 0 Bit 2-4 - Seat belt warrning is now off.

Start stop Auto brake - This turns your e brake into a stop and hold brake so you dont have to keep your foot on the brake pedal if your stopped at a long light or in terrible traffic. You turn on the e brake and when your done you just tap the gas and the e brake turns off.

53 - Parking Brake
Coding - 7
Change the last digit of the coding from 2 (usa or canada) to 1

I will add more later.

superawesome - huge thanks - yes please do keep the suggestions coming!!!

The Ross-Tech Wiki page is very helpful for this.

My personal favorite vagcom mod for every Audi is changing it so that you can roll the windows down/up with the remote. With a dark colored car and/or interior it helps drastically to be able to roll the windows down with the remote to vent the hot air on a hot Summer day. Or you can roll up the windows without having to walk out into the rain.

It appears that the C6 is different by having to change multiple settings though. Here is a link to look up what I am talking about.

This is a brilliant idea!!! Is there one to keeps the daytime LEDs on with the low beam head lamp?

Sorry I don’t have the exact info, but I remember it has something to do with changing the region from US to Canada or something like that. I guess the Canadian ones have the daytime runners on by default. I, too, am interested in making this change once I finally get the vag-com.

I just spliced my wires from the marker lights in, viola, car on lights on. power is constant on one of the wires in the same plug as the DRL, just connect it to the power wire on the DRLs.

Don’t the DRLs turn off when you put on your normal head lights tho.

yes regarding the DRL’s / lows on simultaneously

I had mine coded like that when I got it - it’s kewl :sunglasses:

think it’s Euro or Canada coding, sorry I don’t have deets

I just leave the air conditioning on if I’m only away a short while, or I have it come on 5 minutes before I get to the car.
