Replacing the seals since I had to pull the head out. Is there any suggestions to use other then the $45 each kit?
I think JHM has them for less than that. Makes sense to just get injector service done. Generally service comes with a re seal kit
JHM $600 new seals $150. Do the injectors go bad that ofton?
check out rock auto. i just got a set of 10 for $80 shipped. they go fast though!

If you have injectors that are not less than 40k new or 50k clean tested they are already bad how bad remains to be seen. Some really bad others just slowly getting worse. But they all flow less than they should. The low flowing injectors lead to cylinder damage over time and the usual misfires sometimes
Short answer yes- they will be down and have spray pattrerns that are all over. I had about 80k on mine and they were aweful before a cleaning.

I took a chance on ordering a set of 10 of this seal kit from eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Fuel-Injector-Seal-Kit-06E998907G-for-Audi-A4-A5-A6-A8-Quattro-Q7-VW-Touareg/263309855583?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
They came from China but I was very pleasantly surprised when I got them that they were 10 individually packaged, genuine Audi kits. Shipping was pretty fast also.
Doesn’t say 5.2, is it co.patable?

No, it does not say these are for the 5.2 V10 specifically but it is the correct part number, same as listed on ECS Tuning website: 06E998907G.
