Cropped up in the Avants section of AZ. There are a lot of wrenchers on here so I figured I’d post it up in case someone wants something to take apart and make beautiful… I figure the CEL could be as simple as something like a cat or maybe something more serious like oil consumption, timing and the like.

does look interesting. Someone should go vagcom scan it to see what the CEL is. Hopefully not a timing thing.
One thing I do know is that nobody sells their car for $4000 off when it could be as simple as a coil pack. He knows something is seriously wrong and doesn’t want to deal with it. That’s my guess.
I guess he could just be super busy and not have the time to get it checked out but…I doubt it.
