Is it CPO? If not have a qualified shop do a PPI. That’s what I would do. Speaking from experience, pictures don’t mean shit. You won’t see in pictures or hear from the salesman whether or not the car looks like it was beat on.
I had my RS4 PPI’d there before I made a private purchase. The mechanic I spoke to was solid.

It is a CPO. Not overly worried. If its not to his liking he will just hop a plane and fly back without an S6

And it was in shit condition, only I didn’t know it at the time. If you don’t know what’s wrong you can’t get them to fix it!
So certified pre-owned is good, but still worth getting it checked out.
