Interesting concept. All the car stuff, I’d love to keep it open so non-members can read away and hopefully like what they see and join up. However, I think there’s room for a private forum on the site, esp for chat like this.
I think it would be possible because some of the tech forums are members only. And we have seen that members are vetted here, vis-a-vis itguy lol
Maybe a private sub forum, but this shouldn’t be a private forum, seems less inviting and more douchey elitist that way.

What irritates me the most about the whole saga is that his screen name on AZ is Thomas@TAI-VW and is a blatant violation of the rules against spamming/unauthorized advertising.
He then posts up a controversial subject, which gains quite a bit of interest and his company name is constantly at the top of the leader board.
Even though most everyone do not agree with him, the exposure may make a few sales for him. We then have very good members such as Primetime get harassed for having an entrepreneurial spirit. There needs to be a forum for emerging products and or young companies to be allowed to join the fun.

Yeah. Somewhere the members controlled the site, there was no paid advertising controlling content, and no bullshit was tolerated. Where knowledgeable members could take refuge from the scores of useless ‘dope tint’ threads and make their cars fastest.

When I mean by forum is a section just dedicated to that. I would gladly make a Eurocode screen name here and share R&D and new products if your guys are interested.
