When I was getting reprimanded for selling paddles one of the mods gave me an infraction for posting my paddles for sale on AW, I shit you not… When I asked why he said it was steering traffic away from their site to AW and it was my fault… I’m sure more traffic=more ability to charge vendors… Toni and his mall cops think they control the Audi world…

AR is a huge threat to AZ. All the most knowledgeable contributory enthusiasts are here and day by day AZ is being flooded with more and more ignorant retards. As people get more good advice here and shit advice there membership will continue to grow on AR.
It’s too bad we can upgrade this site a few notches, I even posted I would help pay for some new themes, we are on an older version of this type of forum platform, we need to have not just the most knowledgable members but a better looking, more featured site. It’s hard to kill a fly with a chip stick (it can be done) but much easier with a fly swatter made if carbon fiber and forged swatter stuff…
Basically we need to up this site and forum big time!

I think the “most knowledgeable contributory enthusiasts” are here based on the content contributed by their fellow members not the features of the site. I’d even go so far as to argue that the more feature oriented AR becomes the more it will attract the individuals that make AZ the butt of many jokes around here.
Anyway just my $0.02 for whatever that’s worth… Actually, it’s probably not worth much as I don’t even own an Audi! lol!
AFAIK this is a highly customised version of the forum software, making upgrading a less than straightforward. I like the clean design of the site. As long as it remains fast and vendor free, I’m happy.
Now we’ve got Swank attacking APR in another thread and trying to equate removing cold start in the V2.2 thread with Revo monkeying with knock detection and under/overboost conditions.

Oddly this site loads very fast for me while I’m at work but takes forever when I’m at home. It’s not my home internet speed. I use the same browser and everything.
I also remember that Blake asked you why were you linking your quarter mile threads (that were posted on AW) onto AZ (which made sense so you didn’t have to regurgitate everything again onto AZ).
Do they not know that there are a lot of members that have accounts on multiple forums? ???

Cold start is for emissions nanny fags. That’s it. It’s not to help the car warm up so it runs safer. It’s so it warms up the CATS quicker to reduce emissions…for emissions testing levels.
It was put in place for the people who don’t know how to warm a car up safely (by immediately driving it conservatively u til fluids and block are up to temp). It is for the people who sit in their driveway idling to warm up the car.
Anyone arguing that removing this is unsafe is a pussy eco warrior, or they’re someone who is desperate to attack Apr with something and protect revo.
