Was thinking about getting a group together for a track rental. Not sure on the economics of it, but I just get sick of going all the way there and waiting for 39 motorcylces and 81 dragcars, only to have one of them vomit fluids on the track shutting down a lane for 90 minutes of the 4 hr test and tune.
So, I was thinking October some time we should do a track rental, or at least consider it. If you’re in, reply ‘IN’. It will be during the week so you may need to take that into account with respect to time off etc.
Cayuga/Toronto Motorsports Park
$500 track rental
$50/car for each car over 6
$300 for safety
So if we get 10 guys, it will cost a lot. If we get 20 guys it will be still expensive but more manageable.
Price
6 cars $800 = $133 each
10 cars $1000 = $100 each
20 cars $1500 = $75 each
30 cars $2000 = $67 each
To reach these bigger numbers we could troll the 335 and M and AMG guys to drum up some more racers lol.
St. Thomas is a bit cheaper. Waiting to hear from them…
