Hi everyone! Finally decided to get the APR supercharger cooling system for the S4. As per my signature I have the 2013 B8.5 Model. Now the questions:
- Do I need the ADS auxiliary cooler? I’ve been looking around and I’m confused if the 2013 models and later even need this piece. My shop says I need it but after doing some research it seems that some forums say that it is valid only for the B8 models and not the revised B8.5 with electronic steering.
- I’m not installing an RS4 aftermarket grill, actually love the stock sleeper look
. So, with that in mind do you recommend the screen to protect the intercooler. - Do the new units still come with a pump or is it the revised version v2.0 without the pump. APR website seems confusing from what I’ve researched. Old units had pump and supposedly now only the reservoir is needed and pulp doesn’t come with it.
Did or am I missing something here…?
I’ve messaged APR but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. I’m sure they will, always do but I feel I’ll get answers here a little faster and they’ll be more accurate, lol. Hope to see some of you’ll at the track this fall and thanks in advance for any and all feedback. Cheers
