The funny thing is sean@APR called audirevolution a ‘landfill’ of a forum. That makes me think of a couple of things

  1. The site is really a small private forum of members, not a business. So I guess he was referring to the members?

2 Half the site are APR customers, many of whom are their biggest and most vocal supporters

3 if APR is as SHIT of a company as they now appear to be…and if Sean@APR is as SHIT of an engineer as he appears to be, if that’s the fucking exhaust they Co-engineered with Corsa, well I guess anything they don’t like must be good.

If I had the time, I would go back and post examples of where Arin has posted here and the AR membership offering support and praise where warranted.

APR might have grown a bit comfy here and think the site is in their pocket because they posted here and got support for their success.

It’s like the scorpion and the frog story. They’re wondering why AR is stinging them right now. Well…because AR is a fucking Scorpion. Of course we’re not going to drown because Sean@APR is mad at the site, but it’s interesting how a forum that can’t be bought is the anti-christ to them.

They might step back to realise that this site also exposed the warts on many of their competitors, paving the way for unmolested APR sales on good products they made (i.e. B8 S4 pre-facelift tuning) over the past 3-4 years.

Think you guys might find it interesting how APR is handling this over on GOLFMK6, it gets good around page 16 when Arin gives APR’s official statement. Read the whole thread though.

Then they tried to quickly update a page on Corsa’s site which it has been determined was edited to suit this issue and is worded pretty much to address all the forum concerns.

Th efunny thing about that is, this doesn’t help their legal position AT ALL.

The change was made this week. The products were advertised and sold over the last 4 years. You can’t undo that deception/lying/misrepresentation/false advertising by changing Corsa’s page today.

Bunch of amateurs. Don’t they have a fucking lawyer???

I agree, not sure how that got off track so quickly, but if you scan the thread for the real meat (APR responses) it is very clear they are handling this whole thing the entirely wrong way.

I wonder if Corsa would have changed their stance if they understood why APR was cutting open their exhausts and also taking 3d measurements with the FARO arm. TBH, Corsa wasn’t really even scrutinized until they did the 11th hour switch on their website.

I can’t help but wonder if APR’s deception has spread to other products such as tunes? Unfortunately, my experience with them points to yes. Too bad!

Just getting caught up on this and this particular post by Sean@APR set me off…

Hey Sean fuck you… The children and trolls over here on this landfill site have been some of your company’s best customers and supported APR for a very long time… I’ve run APR tunes on my B5, B8, and TTRS and now I’m a child/troll? Really! I’d be willing to bet I helped sell more APR B8 flashes than any fucking customer of yours on Vendorzine… What did I get in return? Nothing and instead of continuing to support us with new software and hardware you let us get passed by GIAC since they keep investing and making upgrades to their software, you know the same thing you guys used to do… You guys are really doing a poor job of damage control and should just shut the fuck up or focus on facts and not bad mouthing other sites/users especially in such a broad sense… Go ask Arin his thoughts on me as a troll and check why I don’t post on Toni’s site any longer… Idiot!

Oh and I have a wife, child and real job as well so spare me the whining you little bitch…

That bolded statement by him is funny. After his big blowout earlier in the week, he was told not to post and Arin is supposed to be the sole person from APR responding on the forums. Well what does Sean do? He pms people within the thread directly with the same message. Here are the PMs he sent two people on GolfMK6 last night.

@primetime: I’m in the same boat. I was a loyal customer who provided lots of feedback and comparisons for APR on 2.0t stuff. It was nice of them to allow Arin to burn that bridge because he felt threatened in his position after APR chose to go in a direction he was openly mocking for years.

After (XXXX) said that our 80mm DBW throttle body upgrade would not “do anything” for performance and was a waste of time" , are you still willing to give Austic/Garett a call and try it out?

p.s. Every single supercharged Mercedes-Benz/Chevy/etc blah blah has benefited from a larger throttle body.

Well put Mr. Primetime. We all know APR is reading this. I agree, PT has been one of the biggest APR supporters and biggest contributors to this site. Sean@APR showing just how little he knows.
