The avalanche just keeps building in size and scale for how bad this is for APR. I just don’t understand how they’re considering this to not be a bigger deal. I still say their unwillingness to come on this site shows that they’ve no intentions to come clean.

That mk6 thread is hilarious, those guys are absolutely crushing APR…complete with few additional Arin responses. I don’t know much of the APR economics, but aren’t the mk6/mk5 GTI sort of bread + butter platforms for APR…purely in terms of customer base, percentage of people doing mods, cost still high etc?
The Mk6 guys are gonna love that chili cook off.

3.0T? APR still has good stuff, but ethically they’re a gong show, so you might want to spend your money elsewhere. GIAC does well, and has managed to actually deal with the facelift shortshifting transmission whereas APR is a couple of years behind them (with no release in sight, especially considering recent changes)
