APR ECU/TCU tune review…

Seems like this fellow is having issues with his Revo LC… Sounds similar to what I experienced, would like to see a vid and know what year his car is… I searched his ID and I think he has an 11 but not positive… Is there anyone on here with a 2010 car and GIAC dsg tune? If so, does LC work correctly? Can you do a gopro and share please… Thanks!

I should have some numbers Friday on how a Revo 1+ tune stacks up to a stock F80 M3. Same California gas, same dyno, same manual transmission, same gear, same day. Of course the Dinan ECU is going to annihilate my S4 in any situation where there is traction with a coefficient of friction of 2.0 or higher. Fortunately for us mortals it’s hard to find traction over 1.0.

Well I think it’s pretty fucking relevant if Revo can make your last gen S4 equal a current gen M3. If you’re shopping tunes, that is. Anyone want to show up in Berkeley with an APR Stage 2 on Friday morning?

Lose it in what sense? I think she’ll run from 41k miles to 80k miles no problem. If I’m still interested in the car at that point I may have eurocode do a motor build for me.

The S4 guys over on AZ need to chalk up a big win like the one I’m going to provide them with. Getting an oil change for $20 isn’t a big win in my book. I do like reading threads about how the cupholders are great for holding rolls of pennies to take to the bank in exchange for power mods.

It might come even closer. Maybe only 65 ft/lb apart on torque. The only way to know is to measure. Or you can just read F80post and believe that it makes 500 at the crank stock.
