[quote]The good people get run off because they can’t deal with all the BS that comes from having to hide all the dirt and never admitting wrong. The turnover rate is astronomical and if you’re truly the world leader in VAG hardware and software, it should be a dream job. I didn’t know about the financial side of things, but I can’t say I’m surprised one bit.
Anyways, rant over. Fresh management is exactly what that place needed. I hope it works out for them and we see a new side of APR without all the smoke and mirrors of the past. I really want to be proud of the local guys and it’s sad that I haven’t been able to for years

Without exposing more than you feel comfortable. Have most of the issues you saw been addressed in this thread or is it even deeper than what we’ve read here?
Joel will be responsible for a lot of new products APR is coming out with in the coming months. Hate the price? #blameArin
Perhaps our good friends at APR can give us some shots of the inside of the new building. Better yet, maybe I’ll head down for the BBQ. Think Mangrove will honor Stephen’s offer to fly me down to APR for a visit?
In fact one of the recent layoffs was the complete cancellation of their service department. A few good people lost their jobs. Of course, Arin sought to taunt them in the most Arin-way possible, while he and his staff were playing around with a $60k high speed camera filming the #RIPR8
Joel sticks up for the terminated employee, Arin runs to HR
This thread has mostly turned into a hatefest, but it’s so nice to see these posts stick around and not disappear overnight. My biggest problem has always been the attitude that permeates that place. Everyone knows APR has very talented and hardworking people that are certainly capable of putting together great products. But the point is that they’re people, not robots, they make mistakes and don’t always get it 100% the first time. There’s nothing wrong with that and it’s something we can all relate to. You’ll never see APR admit to that and whenever it gets brought up, it gets whitewashed and swept under the rug as quickly as possible. To me, this is most of the reason for the “tuner wars” on other forums and why APR feels persecuted. People are in various states of “in the know” since these issues flash up and disappear so quickly.
What a prick, comments like that paint a pretty nice picture of his character. Also, before this whole “situation” I didn’t think that Arin would purposely have fools like FLyingturdbag so when I would tell him to muzzle him, I was somewhat joking. Now, I find it hard to believe that he WASN’T orchestrating a lot of FT posts or at the very least adding fuel to FT weird JHM vendetta. scumbags
I don’t think its that deep of a conspiracy. That is giving ALOT of credit to one person.
There was a misunderstanding internally about the equipment and who paid to rent it, etc. Not everyone knew that most of the equipment used was owned by individuals and was being loaned or rented.
But it was terrible timing and a poor choice of words as well as something that should have remained private.
Really should ban most of the company from discussing anything about the company on FB unless it is previously approved by the PR team or new CEO.
Obviously there will be personality conflicts inside any company and FB certainly is not the place to discuss them.
Oh come on Keith, you know he’s asked me countless times to post. Halvie posted up screenshots from things that Arin has asked him to post on. There are countless others in Arin’s Army of Trolls.
Do you think it’s that widespread though? And do you think its isolated to him or APR? I mean, I see a lot of information go flying around in private messages and the like from a lot of different people and companies and eventually somebody posts them. Although I’m not trying to belittle your statement. I just think others do it a lot more than any of us know.
Good news is that won’t be happening again at APR. Its very important that we avoid antagonizing anyone, competitors, etc.
We are focusing solely on ourselves and our products, etc. And I’m sure you will see a change in Arin’s attitude as well.

So essentially it’s business as usual and NOTHING has changed??? Ignore vendors, screw people over, and delete comments to avoid a PR nightmare. I’ve seen zero difference in Arin, aside from him not chiming in as often…which I’m sure is because he is under a gag order.
But hey, what do I know…I’ve only been around the company since prior to day one.

Wait, I thought I just said the opposite of that? You have to give everyone time before you’ll really notice a change.
I don’t think you are being ignored, are you? I just needed a reply to my email to you.
I don’t think we are screwing anyone over are we? Or deleting any comments?
You yourself indicated the high amount of deleted comments on the APR FB page… Not to mention Arin banned me for pointing out that they were putting the wrong viscosity oil in the TTS at COTA

Yes, I am being ignored. 100% at this point. I’ve given ample amounts of time, spoken to numerous employees about trying to this issue and it always comes back the same…you need to speak with Mark or Dennis regarding the situation. I’ve done this…countless times in fact and they themselves refuse to call me back, shoot me a text, return and email or hell, even mail me a check. Again, if you can correct the issue Keith, I’d greatly appreciate it. You’ve always made valid attempts at correcting issues and I appreciate that…I hope you can do something about this one as well.
