APR just hit the strip with their RS4 with the new blower..

I’ll just leave this here…

crazy 60’, what were JHM and AMD hitting MPH wise with there runs?

Whoah…

1.7 60’ for JHM but they were spinning and boost is more instant on a roots blower v. centrifugal

AMD hit 126.xx and same with JHM…

However JHM and AMD were on pump this is on 104…

And has to be on slicks for that nutso 60 ft time.

Unbelievably impressive. Hope the back seats were in the car too! But seriously, thats moving for a daily driving sedan which most new cars wouldn’t look at twice as a challenge.

Very impressive! Does the APR stage 3 consist of a built motor?

I don’t know what everyone is so excited about. It is so slow, the car finished 15/NOV/2013.

Probably just a bolt on bigger blower manifold with intercoolers and high pressure fuel pumps.

Man that is a killer 60 feet time!

Yup definitely not a built motor.

lol please post that on AZ and she the reaction you will get

Nah, let’s see if anyone else notices…

Whooloo that just happened.

With times like thar from the tvs 1700 you b5 guys deffinitkt are going to want that junk china supercharger turbo set up from bugsbunny motors now…not…crazy

Do we know more details on the specs of the apr car…

Montgomery is always like that. So is our track.

I’m pretty sure the only company that will build up the BNS block will be JHM.

I’ll be interested to see if they even offer a build program on the RS4. Maybe head work, but I’d be surprised if they do a full build like they’ve been working on the b6/7 s4 for the past what, 3+ years now.

I kinda got the impression stg 2 + (intercooling and fueling) would be the full build for the RS4. And the S4 would get a completely worked motor and fuel system. I’m not speaking from any actual knowledge, just guesses though.

General question, is the RS4 a return less fuel system like the S4? Did JHM look at doing a return style system for the upgraded pumps like what’s talked about for the built S4? Is there any bigger injector that the RS4 can use? It would seem there isn’t much out there right now that would demand more fuel flow than the RS4 other than the newest 4.0tt (which seems too new for JHM and APR to be using injectors from). Or are the injectors good once additional fuel pump is done.

FSI is a lot different, I’m not even sure of the mechanics or operation of the system.

Check out page 30

it shows a return

Yea I just didn’t know. I think the BMW direct injection is a returnless style system, as well as the vw fsi cars are a returnless as well. Not 100% sure, but that was my general understanding.

Edit:
Looked at the link (but on my phone so it’s acting weird and not seeing the full pics) but it does appear some have the return style fuel system. But on of 31 it shows one system which appears returnless and one system that is return style. So dunno.

I noticed the date on the slip too and pm’d Arin about it after he posted the slip. Pretty funny.

^ maybe they hit terminal velocity at 88 mph and made the jump!
