Your odd I have never spoken to you or even seriously interacted with you. So how could you know or think you know how I feel about you. I guess you just summed up what I said.
for those that don’t know you said almost the same review about your PES kit that was no better then stock. It takes certain types of people to do business with companies like AMD and your obviously one of them. I don’t think anyone is going to take too much stock in what you say. You have rave reviews on your PES kit.
So you have already shown that if you get a great deal you will give a great review. This is the same song and dance as with the PES kit. Post how great it is and then post up months later saying how great the PES kit was. You got called out on lies and things you omitted and I wouldn’t expect this thread to be any different.
Thanks for sharing your experience! But man, for the prices you pay for these supercharger kits there shouldn’t be ANY problems in my opinion. I know if I dropped 10 or 15k on a part for my car I wouldn’t expect any glitches with it. Scary to think that you’re their “test mule.” Did they give you any kind of guarantee that if anything drastic happens to your car they will take care of it? I can only imagine what a new motor costs for these cars should something go seriously wrong.
Be careful with your honesty here though because you may shoot yourself in the foot. I don’t think it would be out of character for Jason@Amviva to see this and refuse to solve your problems.
I don’t have the time to sort through old threads but yes you have made it clear to me in the past that you don’t care for me. You never said I’m shitty and shady, that’s new though. It’s ok though, you dont know me, I dont know you… you want to paint a personal picture of me based on my purchasing choices feel free to do so. It’s a shame though.
The argument of my PES review is old and dead. I’ve already explained myself about that in another thread in the past on this forum.
No you have lied I caught you and called you out on it on EA. Nobody should take you seriously as your failed PES kit got the same paid reviews so your saying other then the fact your kit isn’t tested and the fact the tune is unsafe and parts broke off and you haven’t put 5000 miles on the car it a great.
Don’t mix me catching you in lies in the past when it comes to this stuff and me caring for you. You have been dishonest I doubt you would be honest now. So yes i do know you I have watched the same thing over and over. Those that haven’t look at this like what your doing is new… it’s not. Same discounts same misinformation same song and dance. Anyone that supports a company like AMD it says something about that person
Well it seems like it’s inevitable for these kits to always have some kind of hiccup even as complete as they are. PES, APR, and AMD have all had some sort of kink to work out it seems.
I’m actually not sure on a warranty if the motor is damaged, I’ve always assumed it’s at the owners risk to install aftermarket parts based on disclaimers I’ve read through a range of performance products for cars.
With that being said, if the sole cause of an engine failure is due to the supercharger pushing beyond safe limits, I would hope they help.
On that subject, do we know of any companies that cover engine failure due to their FI kit?
The point would be you’re basically a test mule. I’d hope they’d help too, but in reality they will blame it on every last thing before they fork over cash for a new motor. I think every owner takes risk, you just took more risk than any of us ever want.
Should have bought yourself a tts kit, other than jhm it’s the only one id touch of today’s offerings. There’s a uk b7 about to be whippled be interesting to see how it does
Yes, I support AMD, a company that brought a solid supercharger kit to the table with good results, has answered and resolved/ing all my concerns, randomly calls me to check up on things and see how I’m enjoying the car.
They treat me right as a customer, I have nothing to complain about.
What does that say about me exactly? Unless you know something about AMD that I don’t, as in they have a shitty shady past (based on what you say)? So that now translates to me automatically being a shitty shady person because I support them as what I know of them (described above) and not as what you know of them (which is bad news).
Did you just say you bought a solid kit with proven results and at the same time say how you don’t have a solid kit.
Yes great kit that’s untested broken at the moment because the kit wasn’t tested and finished and that unsafe tune your talking about all on so few miles. Listen I know how it works when you get these paid deals. I’m just saying to the people you did the same thing with the PES kit. It got great a review from you and a great follow up review. I don’t want to mess up your attempts to fake update here. I remember how bad it was when you said all these same things about PES and how great they were and there customer service was and how great that kit was.
So the question is are you telling the same kind of truth here like you did with your PES kit. Listen you are shady because you have been caught. And your doing the same thing now. I honestly have said all I have to say. I know when you get kick backs and deals like you did they expect stuff. So go do and say whatever you have to.
I’ll do the same thing here that I did on EA last time you got called out and proved to be dishonest. I’ll let it go. You just keep making this worse for yourself. This started because I made my original post and you made it sound like it was me not likeing you and not the fact that you have done this once before with PES. If you can’t see how the company and its supposed supporters are then your blind. All I was trying to do was help. Just like I did for you before.
Gotcha. I definitely agree it is the owner’s risk once they install aftermarket parts, but that doesn’t matter if the part itself is faulty and destroys other parts in the process. Now if it was install error, that’s a whole different story. I wouldn’t expect a manufacturer to warranty a product that wasn’t installed to spec.
I would hope they help out in the event something bad happens as a result of their product. That’s just good business. I can’t imagine they have a ton of customers, (not necessarily because of their reputation, I just can’t imagine there are THAT many people spending this type of money on their car they they inevitably won’t see a return on).
Hopefully they resolve that hiccup issue and take care of you. I have to agree with the consensus that the owner seems like a douche, based off the screenshots of his facebook rants against JHM and just his general character. Glad to hear you had a good experience though.
I’ve never seen that. Maybe you saw a mirror image of Dan’s car … but his reservoir is centre to left of centre. Nowhere near the right side where the ECU is.
Here’s a stage 2 JHM RS4. Blurry screencap from a youtube video.
That was it! Sorry I was mistaken thinking it was a picture.
Yes that was the area I was referring to where the res is… where the secondary (I believe it’s considered that) would be. In that video it shows the res in its place.
Danny, you guys in the UK probably don’t know this…but the PES whippled RS5 from Australia? It has blown the motor. Car has been sold off and parted out.
May want to let the fucking morons on RS246 who supported PES just to oppose me know about that one.
