Fits Engine Codes: AWN, BBD, BCY

  • MAY FIT ADDITIONAL ENGINE CODES-------(My guess it fits the ART as well)

Seems the 4.2L A6/S6/RS6 and A6 2.7tt/2.8L all share the same rods?

Curious to know where you got this info from. I have a belt driven AXQ V8 engine in my 2004 Touareg and was wondering where I find stuff like this for that engine. Admittedly the Touareg is not a modders’ paradise lol

Most is information I have compiled over some time. Also got a good amount from Scott Dewitt and http://www.a2resource.com/eandt/allengines.html

2002 2007 Touraeg Motronic
Engine Code: AXQ
4.2L
310 HP

I’m more curious to know about cast vs forged etc…

all the block, heads, crank, rods, pistons material list i have are from Scotty @ Advanced Automotion

Oh man…Scotty too

lol

seriously guys!!! Him too? Whats wrong with him?
Man I just talk to the wrong people…

likely referring to this saga:

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/430213-3-0s-amp-JHM?p=6550376&viewfull=1#post6550376

I just thjnk some of those dudes kinda pray on the mew guys that are willing to spend money…

Scotty…it depends on what thing you wsnt to call wrong…

Several people have cought him selling used transmission parts as new…Then some of the rebuilds were bad…Then there was the time he told everyone he rebuilt seveal audi v8 motors only to then be cought in a lie and he actually never rebuilt any…

it just seems when people say there doing something or need help doing something he tries to say he is doing it or done it…the last laugh fest was with the 3.0 a4 guys…something got started about how good or bad the 3.0 motors were…not quite sure of scottys exsct response but he said he was rebuilding 3 3.0 motors and that they had weak walls…he said the walls were weak because the motors are all aluminum…turns out the 3.0 walls are iron and are quite strong…it was clear not only was he not rebuilding any 3.0 block but he wasn’t rebuilding any blocks…scotty said he took pictures and was going to post them…in another thread after he said he had 3 blocks people asked for him to post a picture of them…then it turned into asking him to post any picture of any block at his shop…scotty kept posting but never got 1 picture of any blocks…those are a few…he has been cought in a few other tall tails…thise are just the ones that stand out

ok well just so were clear I have never bought anything from him.

Just be careful…his info may be the same as his parts. Your in the right place now, but come here before you trust anyone.

Scott tried to sign up here with a couple of different names I think. Not sure what his plan was…this is a small site so dupe or troll accounts don’t go unnoticed. It’s like trying to show up at your regular card game with a fake moustache and hope that none of the guys recognise you.

Saki… Nope only have the one account, and this would be my second post.

HOWDY scott. Wanna rethink that claim? Maybe 5000 times?
