As of today most of the bugs should be eliminated. If you have issues loading video or pictures please post so in this thread.

video posting is working for me now, just need an A6 section
Can’t view peoples profiles or do a search by member name. Is that a post count limitation?

just went to load a picture. It works for me.
I go to edit profile and it loads the home page ??? Maybe something to check on. I’m using Mozilla firefox if that makes a difference.

Account accessability:
If you recieve the message, “Before you can login and start using the forum, your request will be reviewed and approved. When this happens, you will receive another email from this address.”, you probably shouldln’t have account access until said response.

How come I’m not able to view anyone else’s profile. I’d been meaning to ask for a while, but I hadn’t figured that one out yet.

When you check, Hide email from public, your email is still displayed.
The verification letters are nearly impossible to read. Then when you go to listen to the letters, no sound plays. I see this as a form of cruel and unusual punishment.
Indeed they are. I’m working on elimination of them as the spam bots had a easier time then general members.

Maddog I blocked profiles to protect members and there information. However if you can still see the email of members this isn’t working

^I’d still like to see some sort of public profile. If people want to remain private, then not filling out any of the profile info will leave it anonymous. I filled out what I was comfortable with others seeing, I don’t know what’s the point of having anything to fill out at all if it’s not viewable by at least other active members. (Maybe private until 10 posts or something?). I don’t mean that I want to see people’s full name/address/elementary school/etc, but I use the “profile” A LOT on other forums. It’s a great way to go look at threads or posts by a certain member, as well as a quick way to get to their photos, other links, more info on their mods, etc. I’d like some sort of “profile” to be active it possible.
I look forward to the 1/4 list, I know it might not be the easiest, but it could really be a step in the right direction when it comes to a performance oriented forum.
I’ve taken your post into consideration. Seems I can find a good happy medium. I’ll build a better box for the profile views and permissions

I was a bad newbie and didn’t read the “Attention New Members” post first. It was my response to having access to the site before I recieved an acceptance email.

im getting an “invalid file type” error when i try to upload .jpeg files.
try it now. There is a few posts where members have embedded Videos. Im still working on getting the player to work.
This bug I have figured out. Still there is more work to do. If you get that error check two things.
The file name can’t be too long or have too many … or ___ in it. simply shorten the name.
The file can’t be too big. You might have to re-size the picture. Im working on having more of a auto size upload process but for now…

how do you upload a video?
Its in the upper right hand of your screen right now. It says upload. You click on it and then select the video option.
Ive seen some of your utube vids good stuff.
Click, the upload tab in the upper right hand corner of the site, From there it will take you to a prompt screen where you can select to upload video or pictures.
The site will support
WMV, MPG, MPEG, AVI, MP4, FLV, MOV, MOOV video files
