Hey Jimmy how much did the custom axles run out of curiosity? is that an option is our axles go out or is the cost so much that it isn’t worth it unless your running serious power?
No I’m not bagged I’m just on hr springs with the stock drc system soon to be replaced with bilsteins. I was looking for an upgraded stronger axle I guess raxles is not the way to go.
It cost me a grand and like four months for both sides. At the time a new OEM axle cost me right around $400 each without core charges + taxes. So that wasn’t bad at all.
I think that this is only a problem if you are running wider and/or sticky tires with a more power than stock like NA with headers or SCed. Pretty sure that JHM and 91GL is/were running stock size tires. If anybody like Saki knows then please correct me. Also if you launch the car with reckless abandonment like me that doesn’t help either.
