Hey guys, me and a buddy got a 2000 b5 s4 to build from the ground up.
We got the car from Craigslist with a blow turbo and a unbeatable price.
But happiness short lived. Chassis wise the car is straight and perfect, but engine wise it’s a whole other story.
I will create a build treat later on but meanwhile we need help figuring out what are these:

They have been chopped and sealed. I’m assuming is a PCV delete it was done to this engine. But we have substantial proof this engine is not original from this car. (Yellow paint writing on block with numbers, lots and lots of bolts mismatched and cross-thread, and some stuff that makes your hair stand up, engine is rusted and beat up but has a new clutch, flywheel, coils - hmmm the stuff they don’t leave it in on the junkyard)
Is blocking of this outlets/inlets a common thing on b5’s? Is this a PCV block off done horribly? Any suggestions are appreciated.
