B6 vs. B7 Flywheel

I have been trying to get a couple dimensions off a B7 flywheel for a few days over on Audizine but not having any luck. Could one of you guys that has a B7 flywheel (aftermarket or OEM Dual mass) laying around please measure 2 things?

  1. The step height from the friction surface to the pressure plate mounting surface. Should be 3/8" but I need confirmation.

  2. The overall height from the crank mounting surface to the pressure plate mounting surface (i.e. set it on a table and measure the distance from the pressure plate mounting surface to your table).

I’m trying to machine my Clutchmasters B6 flywheel to accept a B7 RS4 pressure plate and I need it by Wednesday. :o Huge thanks to anyone that can help.

i’ll try to get them for you tonight. if i recall correctly the b6 is shorter than the b7

went through something similar, trying to use a b7 pp on a b6 flywheel. someone told me that because of the height difference it wasnt going to work, so i never tried it.
