I’m seeing more and more ls1 motor swaps. Into everything from rx7’s to miatas to s2000’s.
Would it fit in a b7? Could it fit?
There was a B5 with a SBC and guruman was working on an LSx. There was also the RSS6 C5 RS6 that retained AWD.
It can be made to fit, but its a lot of length up front if you want to retain AWD.
The BHF is 18" front to back and is nearly to the core support on 8E cars. The LS motors are more like 26" with stock accessories iirc.
I looked into it for like 15minutes, it’s cool if you have deep pockets, but in the end you’d be much better off with a JHM built BHF.
That RSS6 was a pretty nice build on Motorgeek, right?
