B7 S4 6MT JHM Supercharged for sale

Well, it pains me to do, but after celebrating 6 years of ownership on May 18th, I am now officially placing the car for sale. It’s been an great car for me and amazing transformation, but it’s just time for me to change and move on.

I have a full history and 3-ring binder full of receipts for a chronological progression of the car and documentation of all maintenance & modification. As many of you know, I’m a very active member here and have detailed the progression on the car through my posts on the forum. The car was one of the earlier cars to have the JHM Supercharger kit installed and was done by Jason & Dan themselves, as well as several other performance parts.

As part of that, I wanted Jason to have the opportunity to put his hands on the car first hand after several years of owning the kit, so I recently shipped the car to JHM’s shop in California where the car now sits. My plan was to have JHM pull the larger ticket items off the car and sell as a slightly modified car, but for the time being I will give the car the opportunity to sell as a complete package. (do not PM about parting out)

The car is currently titled and passed emissions (the car has JHM headers with no cats, but cats can be easily added if needed) in TN where we have a visual and OBD2 scan for emissions. The bill of sale will have to go through TN because if JHM were to sell it through their car dealership, they would have to go the California emissions which is not easy with the aftermarket headers. I wanted JHM to be able to go through every aspect of the car prior to the next owner, and also thought it would provide for the next owner to have any additional work they may desire to have JHM do all at the same time. Also, I had the joys of the AC compressor failing recently, so figured I’d rather have JHM install in than a local shop, so it just made sense in my mind to send the car to the best guys in the business.

As you can tell in the pictures, it’s a car that has been very well cared for and tastefully modded (in my opinion). I’ll try to list all the modifications, but sure I’ll forget some. There has been zero chain rattle that I’ve ever heard from the car, and oil changes done religiously with Lubro moly initially, and then Motul for the past 20k.

Below is a google docs spreadsheet detailing the majority of the history of recipes mentioned in the 3-binder for the car. As you can see, I’ve spared little expense in caring for and modifying the car, I just want it to go to a good owner who’ll have the opportunity to enjoy it as much as I have.

what an opportunity for someone to get a great car.

what’s next for ya?

Thanks. Not quite sure. Might try to go to more of a “toy” car for a couple of years while I’m still able to, and then get back into the sedan powered scene. We also just bought a house, so the last 1-2 months have been pretty hectic to say the least.

Wow, legendary car up for sale here. That SC was installed by the JHM guys personally. Saw the car in person at waterfest and needless to say it’s spotless.

Wow… if only someone would buy my car. Incredible deal here.

part out supercharger for $6,000
part out headers for $2,000
part out other stuff for $3,000 (catback, intake etc…just easy big stuff)

so you’re getting a B7 for around $13,000 with a tune and a wicked ass DTM body and a bunch of other cool stuff like coils and mounts and and and. Pretty solid. Or buy the whole thing and have fun.

Wow that is good deal for a great car. If you decide to part out I might be interested in a few parts but I’d hope somebody would buy the car with all the mods. Good luck on the sale.

Beautiful car!!

So tempting to offload mine and go with one that is right where I want to be.

If only I could get rid of my damn truck fast enough. It’d be nice to get back into the community.

What an awesome vehicle!

yes it is… Is this still for sale…

DO EEET!

Waiting on wire transfer of deposit. Believe the interested party is sincere. I will let people know if things change.

Wire transfer and bill of sale complete.

Car is sold Guys.

Thanks for the interest and compliments. It’s going to a good home and the plan is to have JHM add even more goodies to the car!

^^^add even more? is that even possible???!!!

Lol. Can’t wait to see the stage 2/3. Congrats maddog. Is the buyer a forumite.

Congrats on the sale. Great to hear you were satisfied with how everything turned out!

I’ll let the buyer speak up for himself if he wants. I’m pretty sure he’s over here as well as AZ, but I’m sure when he posts a pic it’ll be pretty recognizable as to who it came from haha.

Right now to my knowledge he’s installing built heads but stock bottom end (to my knowledge) and then doing a whole chain kit b/c he had already bought it & the heads for his S4 (prior to mine coming on the market). JHM is giving him a great price on the chain refresh and head install, it’s amazing the price JHM can do things for with how skilled and experienced they are on this platform. We’ll put it this way, JHM is doing all the installs for less than he was quoted to just have the motor pulled at a local shop, as I understand lol! Really goes to show, for major work, it’s usually worth shipping to JHM if you can afford the downtime.

Congrats on the sale/purchase. Glad everything turned out right for you guys.
