B7 S4 brake change.

Morning all.

I am going to do a brake pad and rotor change. As I was looking through the Bently manual I saw the note that replacement pads have an arrow and the pads need to be installed in the direction of rotation. I am swapping out the OEM pads for Hawk HPS. The Hawks have no arrow and look unidirectional in their shape. I am assuming then that the Bently manual is only referencing OEM pads when talking about the arrow and direction. Anyone use the Hawks and run into this?

Aftermarket pads are different. You just want to make sure you put the brake sensor pad on the inside. Aftermarket pads are pretty stright forward
