No one is obsessing, just trying to help others save money instead of waste it on a pointless mod. I’m not sure if you are aware yet or if you realize that AR is about helping and protecting the community. We don’t sit by and watch people get fucked out of thousands and protect vendors that never prove their parts work. So far you haven’t listened to any recommendation from this forum so I’m really not even sure why you post here. Despite that, good luck, your car should easily run 11s in this weather at Coastal, if not you may want to give up or start listening to the guys trying to help you.
Hey idiot, you were restricted and suspended for telling other members to die and kill themselves. You were basically acting like a 16 year old girl.
You will listen to REVO, who is at the bottom of the leader board by the way…good for you. You also bitched and moaned about the driving distance to get a GIAC tune, but you turned around and drove hundreds of miles and spent a few days so Revo could dial your car in on a dyno.
Think whatever you want dinosaur, if you fail miserably to break 11s this weekend I’d burn that fucking car to be honest. You are such a waste…

So as a consensus I take it without reading the entirety of this thread that Eurocode headers prove to not make you any faster still is that correct after all these years, even if they give you higher numbers on the dyno?
I haven’t given much thought into getting these since the initial discussion years ago because of this so I haven’t kept up with all the mambo jumbo, but now with the release of the Stage III, I’m wondering if any gains could now be had with them if paired up with the new blower. Any thoughts on that or can we do more speculations here? ;D
I think the consensus is that there are marginal gains to be had, but for the cost of the headers and install, it’s probably not worth it unless you are trying to bleed every last ounce of performance out of the car. And, even with that, test pipes likely give the same type of gains at a much lower initial and install cost.
As far as how they really work with Stage 3, time will tell. I don’t think you can rely on what the vendor is saying based on past experience.
Well given you haven’t heard much the last few years should be good evidence… IMO on a stage II car and based on what I’ve seen, read, and experienced they don’t do much if anything, neither do the hfc’s or test pipes… Don’t think they hurt either and you do get some weight reduction. I feel the small variance in ET and trap between the various setups, IE headers, test pipes, hfc’s, and stock shows this along with my personal experience at the strip with two different header cars, same headers though… literally… lol I could care less with what any vendors dyno shows especially when they’re the ones selling said part.
I still don’t think they’ll do much on a stage III car either and EC’s claims are down right fabrication IMO…
If someone is staying stage II, they should try to get a few other things for performance way before these headers. First thing I’d want and I’ve been trying with various company’s for a few years is the larger TB and intake. Now I don’t know if the one that is being used for stage III would mate right to our current setup but I’d suspect it does or could be modified to do so… You’d need APR or GIAC, etc to write a tune though, my guess is they’ll explore this anyway but that’s a guess… It’s really a no brainer on PD blower cars. I’d also run a larger crank pulley for more boost especially if you can couple it with the above… Finally, someone really needs to run a small shot on this car as I think it would be safe as long as you don’t get carried away.
