Just about every bushing is shot on my a5. Is there a good stock equivalent bushing set which would be more affordable or would I be better off replacing all of the suspension arms front + rear?
Do you have a press to do it yourself? I have a 20ton press and have pressed bushings in the past but I know only install new arms. The ball joints are usually always in good condition and can probably easily do two bushing replacements to a ball joint but just the labor and hassle. If you shop early and keep looking you can usually find them on sale. I only shop Lemforder, Mahle HD, TRW, or 034.
I have a press, I priced out front bushings vs control arms, I’d be saving about 500$ CAD to do the bushings myself, so that would be worth it (also lots of money saved towards k04 & all the stuff to go with it). It looks like you can’t buy bushings for the rear, so I’d have to replace the 2 upper arms & toe links in the rear
