Best way to move car around while motor is out?

I’m getting ready to pull the motor out to do timing service and I was thinking of what to do with my car while the motor is out. Any good suggestions on how to make the car moveable?

I was thinking about getting a set of these

I need to be able to move my car when I have to get work done on my mazda for a race weekend. The only thing I don’t like about those dollies is the small caster wheels and knowing my floor has a crack in the middle of it.

Push it out of the garage and pull the Mazda in…

To best answer this question. Its important to know if your going to drop the motor cradle or pull the motor out the front. If your pulling the motor out the front you can just suspend the front axles with coat hangers and push the car rolling out.

No lift so I’ll be pulling the motor out from the front

Just realized after reading euro’s reply that I would still have the wheels on if I used the dollies.

I just pushed mine around when I had the motor out.

those little dollies only work on perfectly smooth surfaces if your floor is cracked and rough theyll be a pain.

I hooked my engine hoist up to the two frame rails and used that to move the car around when I needed to. Just another option.

I have these heavy duty dollies.

They have bigger casters and more/better bearings than the standard duty dollies, so they roll ok over cracks and little rocks.
