The car when I first purchased it three years ago

I added the RS6 front bumper

I also plan on retrofitting the 3G+ MMI , getting all the JHM goodies and rims and tires are already on their way

In addition to what you see that’s been done, the engine and transmission have been replaced under warranty , all front suspension components have been replaced with Meyle HD , push button Start updated, and LED light kit in all the interior lights

Now that I’ve got my own performance and maintenance stuff all taken care of, it’s time to make my car start looking good too. Your post gives me some ideas, thanks!

that black dash is a huge upgrade - seriously that huge slab of silver plastic is starting to hurt my feelings.

I’d love a set of RS headlights too - nice build!

I had transmission codes had hard drop from gears and it was in limp mode all the time. Said a piece from the intake manifold scratched the cylinder wall as well so they replaced the engine and tranny total cost was 37,100. Warranty covered 34,639 of the cost then dropped my warranty lol. Fidelity is a great warranty company though :+1:t5:

God the things I could accomplish with this car for $37,000 O.o absolutly beautiful build so far keep it up a some amazing builds on here seems to keep getting better too!

Seriously^ generally the transmissions and motors are pretty stout on these, and any issues generally aren’t catastrophic unless ignored.

With that said I’ve heard of about three engine replacements and two transmissions replacements in the past 6 years in c6 s6s. Mileage was pretty low on them (one was even 25k) which seems to make me think no maint, abused, and possibly defects from the factory. How many miles did you have?

Nice job. Love the rear end update, and was considering the same thing… but I’ve got too much money into my rear end at the moment for that to really make sense… Same goes for the RS6 front end swap… Too much money in on the carbon fiber trim pieces at the moment (it’s an addiction lol)… Carbon fiber parts don’t transfer to the C6.5 body style. I will be in touch after the next track event regarding those RS6 headlights though. Thanks.

Great thread. Its nice to see the transformation of the body now adding the JHM parts depending on what you got will add the transformation of the power.

The rear tail light mod looks great. Is that a direct bolt in swap. I know a few guys have talked about it but I dont remember other then the lights and maybe the vag coding what all else needed to happen

The rear update was in essence a direct bolt, necessary was the rear bumper trunk lid and lights i also used a rear harness from a donor car. I repinned the exisitng hardness with the new taillight connections (this took me a while using German instructions) however i was able to get the taillight working like its supposed to.

I roughly had around 86k miles, honestly im not sure if it was the 155mph autobahn speeds or if it was just faulty eventually. One thing i was told by Audi AG is to NEVER get a transmission flush. I had a few issues and decided to get a transmission flush and that when issues actually became worse.

I was constantly on limp mode, let the car sit over night and drive and it would randomly go into limp mode switching from 2-3. They thought it was the TCU but the TCU internal of the transmission.

The issues with my Engine were plentiful, misfires, cylinder codes, all types of codes i have the receipt from what all was done and what all the symptoms were if you all would like to see it.

I’d like to know more about the rs6 bumper swap. Is it a direct swap? I’m wondering about fit or needed modifications. Wondering if mount my leds kinda in the same location as my stock bumper
