So it’s a long story… here’s the cliff notes version. Unknown neighbor back into my car destroying my front driver side fender then ran luckily a friend saw it all go down and took down the plate #. After some time searching the authorities got me in contact with the driver and they paid for the repairs. I decided since the car’s in the shop just pay extra and have them respray the entire car.
So i dropped off the car early August, i told the body shop i had another car to take their time and get it done right. Two long months later they tell me the car is ready. I pick the car up today and it is immaculate! showroom quality.
i pay the shop and they start telling me my battery died and they put a new one in on them. I didn’t think much of it, actually thought that they did me a favor until i started the car and saw a CEL (there wasn’t one when i dropped off the car) and the car runs like shit. i told them about it and they said put a few miles on it and it’ll go away. so i drove home and the car ran like total garbage CEL started flashing at one point and i only live 10 min away from their shop.
i got home scanned it with my vagcom and literally every category malfunctioned… so i figured maybe it’s the battery let me clear all the codes and see which ones come back. below is what came back and i don’t know if they messed up my motor installed the wrong battery or if there is another issue all together.
