Borrowed a GoPro to make a vid of stock Rs4 exhaust sound regular vs. Sport

Fun tool . Holy shit that suction cup is fantastic. I wish the cup on the Gtech or PBOX was that strong.

Borrowed it from jspazz who was nice enough to lend it to me for a few days. I will try to get some good driving footage in the sun for a friend who likes making car videos so that will be good. Supposed to be good weather the next few days.

Anyway, just did a few rips through the gears with the gopro looking backwards. Couldn’t tell a huge difference between stock and sport. Could you? Seems sport is a bit deeper, more bass. Volume seems the same alhough this is very tough to tell based on go pro audio. On that note, why does the go pro always produce that little buzzz?

What back did you have on the gopro? There are different ones for different purposes .

Ima have to do the same thing, I want to hear my exhaust aswell.

are you referring to waterproof vs. regular?

I guess it’s the regular. This one…big holes in teh back.

oops uploaded the filtered one (some app on my phone takes a pic and turns it into a sketch)

it’s actually a neat app. Here’s a band I saw live…at a stag party lol.

Yes waterproof to non. There are 2 oval openings.

IIRC the built in mic on the GoPro is on the bottom, so honestly even the skeleton case…the one with holes all around it…does not help improve the audio quality. People complained enough that GoPro put in a jack for an external mic.

And to answer your question, the sport version sounded deeper and more choppy.

yeah sport sounded more raspy imo
